- X strips some metadata itself, but never count on it — clean first, upload second.
- Run the checker on one file from each export source you use.
- Clean batches of up to 30, then upload — never rely on re-uploading a “fixed” version of the flagged post.
Three-step routine for X (Twitter)
- Inspect. Confirm the file carries C2PA/XMP markers with the free checker.
- Clean. Strip everything with the browser-only remover — pixels stay identical.
