How to Calculate
Markup = ((Selling Price - Cost) / Cost) × 100
Subtract the cost from the selling price, divide by the cost, and multiply by 100.
Worked Example
Cost: £50, Selling price: £75 → Markup: ((75-50)/50) × 100 = 50%.
